30th ArtMap Celebrates Creativity and Showcases a Vibrant Cultural Season

Dubai Culture, in collaboration with thejamjar, has launched the 30th ArtMap, offering a comprehensive guide to art galleries, major festivals, and events across Dubai and the UAE. The publication captures the city’s artistic energy and celebrates the people and spaces driving its cultural evolution.

This milestone edition highlights key events shaping the season’s calendar, including the 11th Dubai Design Week, organised in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group, and supported by Dubai Culture. It also spotlights the inaugural Dubai Youth Performing Arts Festival, which brings together emerging talent across theatre, music, and folk arts.

A special feature is dedicated to the 27th General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Dubai 2025), being hosted for the first time in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. The edition underscores the event’s global importance in advancing the future of museums and strengthening the cultural sector. ArtMap 30 also profiles leading artists and curators from the UAE and the region, including Lucas Morin, Senior Exhibitions Curator at Jameel Arts Centre; Emirati artist Sara Al Khayyal; and international artist Issam Koubaj. It also explores key exhibitions at Alserkal Avenue, such as ‘The Shape of Things to Come,’ curated by Dexter Wimberly, featuring works by world-renowned artists El Anatsui, Iman Issa, and others.
