Dubai Culture invites children to embark on an adventure-filled journey at the Etihad Museum Winter Camp held over weeks, the first from 15 to 19 December and the second from 22 to 26 December. The camp offers children aged 5 to 12 interactive activities and group challenges, providing participants with an opportunity to explore the visions, values, and achievements of the UAE’s Founding Fathers, as well as the nation’s history and culture. The programme also focuses on developing leadership skills in communication, teamwork, responsibility, and community engagement. Camp participants will further discover the beauty of arts and collage, learn basic ceramic techniques, and explore the symbolism of falcons in Emirati culture, in addition to gaining insights into sustainable agriculture. The programme also includes a visit to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, where children will learn about satellites and their uses, as well as the UAE’s space exploration missions and Mars initiatives.
