Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) presents the Hatta Winter Camp, an engaging programme of educational and field-based activities for children aged 7 to 12 years. Taking place over four weekends from 15 November to 3 December, the camp invites young participants to explore the heritage, traditions, and natural environment of the Hatta region through immersive, hands-on experiences.
The initiative supports the UAE’s Year of Community campaign, aligns with the comprehensive development plan for Hatta, and contributes to the objectives of the Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040, which aims to enhance the area’s cultural and social vitality.
Under the guidance of experts and specialists, children will learn how the mountains, forts, and farms shaped the lives of Hatta’s families, meet local beekeepers to discover the world of honey making, and trace the journey of water from the mountains to homes and farms through traditional irrigation systems. The final weekend will coincide with the UAE’s 54th Union Day, celebrated through creative and collaborative activities that deepen national belonging and pride.
