Dubai Culture Launches Open Call for 'Curatorial Foundations Program'

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), in collaboration with Node Center, has opened applications for its ‘Curatorial Foundations Program.’ The initiative is designed to support aspiring curators, artists, and cultural practitioners by providing hands-on training in curatorial practice and exhibition organisation.
Applications will be accepted from September 8 to 15. A committee of experts and professional curators will review submissions, selecting participants based on readiness, interest, and commitment to full participation. The programme runs from October 1 to December 12 in a hybrid format, combining in-person and virtual sessions.
Applicants must be proficient in English and have a basic grounding in the arts, either through study or practice. Submissions should include a CV or résumé, along with work samples where available. Interested candidates are also expected to demonstrate a strong motivation to gain practical experience in curating exhibitions.
